What to Expect

AmCON Level is 3

Order of Business

• The CB3 check-ins are from 6:30-6:45, prior to the beginning of the net

• At 7PM the NCS (net control station) will begin the net

• NCS will ask for announcements

• NCS will begin the roll call for regular check-ins

• NCS will call for "late, missed or new check-ins"

• The AmRRON AIB (intelligence briefing) will be read by the NCS

• The Channel 3 Project will commence starting on FRS3, then MURS3, then 146.420 HAM simplex

• The CH3 lead operators will report their results to the ANCS (assistant NCS) on the repeater

• The net will be closed with a request for questions and comments

If you would like to make mention of a particular group you're endorsing, please wait until after the completion of this net. Also be sure to adhere to our guidelines of “being courteous, patient and helpful.”

• Please pause 1 full second after keying your microphone to allow the repeater to kick in, or you first word or two will not be heard.

• Please do NOT offer any information unless it is solicited by the NCS.

• Be brief and concise as others' time is valuable and there are a lot of people that check into this net.

• Absolutely no cursing or sexual innuendos and/or remarks.

• Remember this is a public repeater, and everyone hears what you say. Present yourself in a dignified manner and you will be respected.

• We have several families with children that check into the net and use the repeater.
